The Seaside Pirates 2023 AGM will be held on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023 at 7pm. This meeting will be held via zoom with the link being emailed to all club members prior to meeting.

Hi everyone
Hope you enjoyed the huge edition of the Plank that we sent last week, there was so much information.
We are now looking towards the Relay Meet on July 20th and the Pirate carnival on August 3rd. It may seem a long time away but time is flying and they will be here before we know it. The Relay meet takes a lot of organising for our club captain Staffan. Once we know who will be swimming (and what strokes they may or may not be able to do) Staffan needs to put together all the teams before the entries close on the Friday 18th July. Once the teams are submitted we cannot make any changes – so if you are unable to swim on the day your team will miss out on a swim. This is why we give everyone so much time (during that week) to ensure they will be right for the Sunday.
It would be great if you could start letting me know if you intend to swim at the Meet (Sunday July 20th at SOPAC), so Staffan can make a start. Obviously there will be changes and additions, but it would be good to have an idea of who is available. If there is a stroke you cannot do for any reason, please let me know and I will pass this on to Staffan

You may have already had a look at our up to date Club records which are on this website. Please check them out, there may be some omissions, if so let me know. We will now keep them up to date, and endurance swims can also be counted as club records, so they will be added as well.
